Jewelry Makers Network

A gathering place for jewelry makers to share ideas, make friends, & to have fun

Good morning everyone,
Just as an introduction, obviously my name is Linda. I started out with simple stringing two years ago. I've tried many areas, wire wrap, polymer clay, bead embroidery, but what I love the most is working with seed beads.....this week anyway. I do tend to be fickle and jump around a lot, but this phase of my jewelry "career" involves seeds and learning to use them.

I am self taught with the aid of free tutorials online although I did take one class in Polymer Clay, which while I didn't learn a lot I did have a lot of fun. There's something therapeutic about running hard clay through a pasta maker time after time after time and producing a flat shiny flexible piece of material. But how many thin sheets of clay can one really use?

The picture I attached is a combo of glass pearl beads and seed beads in a flat spiral pattern

Looking forward to meeting new friends and connecting with old!
