Thanks Megan, I cut the flower shapes out of sheet copper - 2 sets.  Textured them to look like petals. Then I place one on top of the other and connect them with a wire on which the beads were strung.  The petals are worked with flat nose pliers so that they come up and down.  The wires poke thru a hole in the center of each flower to the back.  I then attached the wires to the mechanicism I made for the pin.

Curious as to how you do the copper work...It's so beautiful!
