Thank you jen! Tips??? Of course! Heh!.....

I use copper and silver plated wires. They both will get a patina over time unless you polish them with a cloth from time to time. Make sure you polish it gently though because the silver will polish right off is you do it too much... Ask me how I know...LOL  I paid fro a class to learn to make a tree of life pendant and then transformed what I learned in to this design. There are a couple of ways you can create this. I found a few videos on you tube to help me learn how to do this.
