Jewelry Makers Network

A gathering place for jewelry makers to share ideas, make friends, & to have fun

To date, I've made 25 beaded rings since I started beading two months ago. Being a sewer all of my life, I naturally segued to beading. I wear my rings, a different one, or two, every day, even if I never leave the house. I love looking at them and still can't believe I made them. I want to become an accomplished beader. I've now started beading my own designs and this is very rewarding. Happy beading, everyone. Pat

Yes, they're made with mostly 11 seeds. It was hard at first to manipulate the long thread (I use Fireliine 0.008) and the small beads, but I gradually got used to it. I learned from YouTube videos; there's some really good ones out there. I have also beaded a cabochon and it turned out fair; I need some practice on this. All in all, I'm happy with the results of my first beading projects but I still have a long way to go. Pat

Wow! That's terrific! Are the beaded rings made with seed beads?
