<p>Its interesting to see how different countries look at the defacement of money. Here in the UK, it was definitely treason to do so, and perceived as an encouragemant of the monarchs death. Yes, strange!</p>
<p>I'm not entirely sure but that specific law may have been repealed. I do know that anyone would be liable for a fine for either writing on or defacing any of the queens property, currency included.</p>
