Looking at your photos, one thing stands out to me -- you need a light box! The bright light spot in the center of many of your photos makes it hard to appreciate the piece. Luckily, there are lots of tutorials out there with instructions for making low cost light boxes -- this looks like the one I used to make mine: http://www.wikihow.com/Create-an-Inexpensive-Photography-Lightbox
