I love bright, vibrant colors so I decided to create jewelry that appeals to a joyful, fun-loving kind of person who finds pleasure in complimenting their wardrobe with bright, colorful jewelry! I like to work with Swarovski crystals, Czech glass beads, Swarovski and fresh water pearls, hand-made lampwork-glass, and silver-foil beads. I also love to use semi-precious stones, too! Have you heard of Kumihimo Braiding? That's my latest acquired jewelry skill! It's so much fun and I love learning new ways to make jewelry!

I started beading 5 years ago and enjoy going to bead shows and reading bead magazines. And I just started working in a local bead store! Beading is such a rewarding way to spend your time and I want to share my work with those who find it appealing. I am a retired nurse and live at home with my husband in the gently rolling hills of Western Maryland. When I'm not busy creating in my studio, you can usually find me working in my garden or playing with my two "rescued" dogs, Sophie & Sienna. After working so many years as a nurse and helping others, it's nice to switch gears, "bee" creative, and do something for me!
