Making my own tools...

Good afternoon!

My husband and I have been busy making tools I can use when wire working. Making a peg board isn't too difficult, so he says, and using toothpicks cut in half as pegs works well too!

I have used polymer clay to make different shapes as objects I can wrap wire around when needed. I do quilling as well and my quilling work board was greatly helpful in providing molds for graduated shapes including squares, circles, triangles, ovals, teardrops and hearts (you can…

Hi Jean,

I'd like to help but am not sure of your question regarding coil spacers. I rarely, if ever use spacers since I wire wrap.  I wrap fine gauge wire over heavier gauge wire.  I also make my own "links" or "sections" and usually connect them with jump rings or weave them together with wire.
