About Me - Tell us a little about yourself and your area of expertise: I am a local special education teacher who began designing jewelry pieces as a hobby during my summer vacations. I ended up diving into it with such vigor that I had way too much. It became such a passion of mine that I wanted to share it with others. I began marketing myself by selling at local farmers markets and online through my Etsy shop. Early on, I decided that every piece I created would be one-of-a-kind and came up with the philosophy: Be Unique, Be Yourself, Be Beautiful. I believe that everyone deserves to feel that a piece of jewelry has been made just for them. I enjoy using many different types of materials, including: lampwork beads, Swarovski crystals, glass, gemstones, and wire. I look forward to learning new techniques and incorporating them into new designs. That is why I love what I do and continue to create each new piece.
